Agency Relationship Information

Your agent should present you with a form explaining the nature of your relationship or how you will be represented. Included will be the term of your relationship, how much compensation will be made and by whom, duties of the buyer, seller and agent or agency. If the relationship will be a "Dual Agency Agreement" with the agent representing both buyer and seller, another separate form should be used to spell out this type of arrangement. Ask your agent for this information if it is not forthcoming.
